No shopping savings

Stopping shopping should save me heaps and heaps of money. Thanks to my new friend Tim, the online budget manager I subscribed to, I’ve now become painfully aware of how much I spent on shopping last year. Just to give you an idea: the amount of money I spent on shopping for clothes, shoes and accessories is 25% above the average for women of my age. And this only included purchases paid for by debit card.

Taking away the shopping sprees would then have a significant impact on my cashflow. Obviously, I wouldn’t want all this newfound wealth to go to waste by spending it on bits and bobs. So I’ve decided to put this extra cash in my savings account. I’ve added a target amount that I would like to have reached by the end of this year. And hopefully, I’ll manage to.
